Career Fulfilment
Last week I attended a storytelling bootcamp for business and the following is my initial outcome.
I spent most of my early career searching for meaningful work. I wanted to make a difference and I longed to experience a sense of fulfillment in my career.
I remember when I had to work in a temporary accounting job where I felt totally uninspired, staring at spreadsheets all day in an office cubicle. I felt hopeless, bored, and frustrated. Until I discovered a simple mindset shift that was like a golden key to unlock, not only the ability to reframe that seemingly menial role, but to actually find enjoyment in my daily tasks. I even started looking forward to Monday mornings, without the usual sense of dread that I had experienced for most of my working life until that point. I then went on to receive numerous promotions and tripled my income within two years. That’s when I knew I was onto something.
Now, I support people who feel stuck in their careers, to achieve the same mindset shifts and implement proven strategies, to discover fulfilling work, make meaningful contributions, become the top choice for recruiters, employers and clients, and increase their impact and income in the shortest time possible.
All Career Accelerator Newsletter editions up to this point have been written with this specific outcome in mind. Do you think this short story brings the message across in a more relatable way? Let me know in the comments and as always, thank you reading.

I am definitely interested in hearing more about the mindset shift. Did you use the "eat the frog" mentality?
